The player is asked to go through 4 non-linear terrain operations, where tasks can be performed in any order and in different ways, thanks to the game mechanics of controlling a separate tank or commanding an entire army on a tactical map. Also, you have to switch between personnel to perform different functions: movement, shooting, orders for the next allied equipment. A distinctive feature is the ability to observe the actions of the crew from the cockpit, which makes the process more realistic.
Many tanks replicate the look and armament of real prototypes, such as the Soviet T-62 or the American M60A1. Steel Armor: Blaze of War – a hodgepodge of two genres – tank simulator and real-time strategy with management of different units.
